Job Description

Automotive Tire TechnicianAntigonish, NSOn-SiteRole DescriptionOur Tire Technicians provide top service to our customers by performing Perform tire removal, installation, and repair services. As the ideal candidate, you have a strong desire to be in the automotive industry, have a passion for people, and understand the value of good customer service.This position is located at Kal Tire in Antigonish, NS location.Job Responsibilities

  • Perform tire removal, installation, and repair services safely for passenger and commercial tires. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, inflating, and installing repaired, or, replacement tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct diagnostics, evaluate the reparability of damage, and choose and complete proper repair methods.
  • On-call for roadside service to support commercial products.
  • Provide a great customer service experience.
Job Requirements
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • You have a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve on the spot.
  • Tire technician experience (preferable)
  • Ability to excel in a physical environment and comfortable lifting 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills with the desire and ability to deliver outstanding customer service experiences every time.
  • Safety mindset, willing to wear all required PPE, and follow all safety procedures.
Hours
  • Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm
  • On-Call hours
