Athabasca Golf Club is one of Northern Alberta’s Top Rated 18-hole, full service, golf courses. The Fox Den is a restaurant open in the clubhouse from May to September and houses our golf simulator which operates year-round. We are managed by a board elected from club members and are open to the public. We host members, green-fee players, leagues, social and corporate tournaments, training, meetings, weddings, and other events throughout the year.The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all aspects of the course while being accountable for the organizations continued growth and executing the policies developed by the board. They promote and build a healthy team environment, ensuring staff have appropriate training and direction, including building employee engagement and delivering outstanding customer service to provide a positive golf experience.The successful candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a multi-faceted operation or an educational background in Business Administration is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with direct golf course management experience.The General Manager is responsible and accountable for the overall management, leadership and administration of all financial, physical and human resources of the club.They will create an efficient and effective workplace, working with the Head Greenskeeper and Office Manager to keep things running smoothly and reporting to the board of directors.Salary & Benefits:
