Your Opportunity:Under limited supervision, the Working Leader - Linen & Environmental Services is responsible for overseeing the daily onsite operations by assigning, monitoring and providing direction and leadership in both areas. This position is the local onsite primary contact. Assist with the workload in both areas in accordance with Alberta Health Services Standards and Practices. This position assists in the daily organization of workflow demands and ensures staffing levels are maintained. Oversees that the equipment is working and maintained. Ensure supplies are adequate. Communicates regularly with the Linen & Environmental Services supervisor.Description:As a Working Leader - Environmental, you will be responsible for monitoring and directing the day-to-day workload of the Environmental Services department and ensuring maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies. Your typical duties as the Environmental Working Leader may include developing and maintaining staff schedules; assigning and checking work of the Environmental Services department; assisting with equipment breakdown investigations and providing recommendations for repairs; and coordinating quality assurance functions. You will ensure quality and performance of cleaning tasks in accordance with AHS standards and practices.
