Job Description

Stouffville, Ontario - Seeking a Full Time Dental Receptionist/Dental AssistantWe are seeking a friendly, caring, multi-tasker Dental Receptionist with dental assisting experience to join our exceptional family dental practice in Stouffville.Experienced receptionist with dental assisting background to help build a new practice. (3+ years)Must have Abeldent experience. Must be a self starter and able to work well unsupervised.Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis
  • Knowledge of Abeldent computer and relevant software applications
  • Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
  • Working knowledge of dental insurance
  • HARP Certified, Level II Dental assistant with NDAEB certification
Job Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Register new patients according to established office protocols
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
  • Fill in cancellations and no-shows
  • Answer and manage calls
  • Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Liaise with dental insurance companies
  • Collect payments from patients at time of treatment
  • Inform patients of financial treatment plan options
  • Maintain a professional reception area
  • Dental Assisting duties
Salary & Benefits:
  • Wage based on education and experience: $25-$30
  • Full dental benefits
