Job Description

Subsidiary: Miller Paving LimitedLocation: Aurora, ONAs a General Labourer, You Will:

  • Promote, lead, and execute a Safety-First culture for all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants in compliance with Miller Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) polices and ensure contractual HSE obligation for the staff and public are met
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor
  • Responsible for maintaining the yard, including shoveling, sweeping, stripping concrete block forms, parts pick-up and painting
  • Perform housekeeping duties to ensure the shop, common areas, and exterior of the yard are clean and safe
  • Maintain accurate documentation of hours of service, fuel records, time sheets, etc.
  • Ensure worksite is organized and free of clutter
What Youll Bring:
  • Loader experience considered an asset
  • Valid G Driver’s License required with a lean driver’s abstract and CVOR
  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills
  • Excellent team player to work productively in a highly functional team
  • Willingness remain on-call to work rotational shifts and days, evenings and nights as required
  • Ability to perform manual labour as required and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Punctual and reliable
