Sweet Garage, a growing company in a growing home renovation segment is adding people-power. As we grow were looking for 1-2 additional installers for the 2022 season and beyond.We are looking for 1 installer based within 25 km of Aurora, OntarioThis is a physical position, similar to landscaping, painting or construction in which the installer prepares, repairs and applies coatings to concrete surfaces, usually (but not exclusively) residential garages. Comfort and ability to work with light equipment, and general knowledge/experience of homes/building/renovations a requirement. The ability to lift up to 75lbs is occasionally required, and 10-30lbs regularly.View this video for an example of typical tasks on a project https://youtu.be/2Qe8911h_q4 or at www.sweetgarage.ca.Another requirement is for the employee to have their own transportation to travel to jobs in different locations on a daily basis, or travelling to meet other installers for carpooling purposes as location allows (when applicable, transportation costs reimbursed, which include fuel/wear/407 etc.).Employees who do not have their own transportation will not be considered. Public transportation is not an option as jobs are in different locations every day.A potential advantage to prospective applicants is cross-functional experience in carpentry, and/or home construction or similar fields.For successful candidates, opportunities for advancement are available. Installers work in teams and team leads are responsible for interaction with clientele, managing team dynamics and schedule, and the correct installation of the different products. Team leads operate company vehicles in season, which can include personal use of the vehicle as an employment perk.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
