With a team of skilled individuals working alongside with over 70 family physicians, specialists, and allied health providers, our goal is to get our patients healthy, quickly and safely.As we continue to expand, we are looking for Laboratory Technician/Medical Assistant who have the passion to deliver the best possible care to our patients.Summary: Laboratory Technician/Medical Assistant will assist physicians and allied health partners with conducting tests, processing specimen, and performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient flow and care process. This is a permanent full-time position.Locations: Aurora: 14872 Yonge St, Aurora ON, L4G 1N2 and Thornhill: 7335 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON, L3T 1P9Responsibilities:Responsible for providing administrative support to the entire clinic, including but not limited to: registering patients, answering phone, booking appointments, following up on consults and test results and other duties as assignedResponsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient collection, handling and processing of specimens in accordance to the clinic proceduresProvides assistance to doctors and allied health providersOther laboratory and administrative duties related to clinic operationsMaintains and organizes laboratory/clinic equipment and suppliesRequirements:Completed an accredited MLA/OSMT/CSMLS certification is requiredCurrent enrolment in a recognized program for Medical Laboratory technology may also be consideredAdministrative or customer service experience, including in a non-medical field is considered an assetProficient in computer/knowledge of EMR is an assetAbility to work at multiple locations is considered an assetStrong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environmentEffective interpersonal and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills** PLEASE DO NOT CALL, only online applications will be considered. **Why Enhanced Care might be right place for you:Nominated for 2012 York Regions' Character Organization AwardWinner of 2015 OPA's Collaborative Services AwardOngoing career training and developmentFNsWwzgnjr
