For more information, visit TC Transcontinentals website at www.tc.tc.About this opportunityUnder the direction of Director, Variable Print, Prepress & Creative Solutions, the Production Artist will build prepress ready art files that comply with in-house protocols.What you will do

  • Build accurate prepress ready artwork in an efficient and timely manner;
  • Edit high resolution images in Photoshop;
  • Manage and organize working files within Transcontinental’s server;
  • Follow client brand style guides and maintain consistent files;
  • Take direction from the team leads;
  • Make logical and creative decisions when working on complex layouts;
  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
What you have to offer
  • Post-secondary education in the graphic arts field;
  • Minimum five (5) years production art related experience;
  • Strong knowledge of print processes and the direct affect to the artwork;
  • Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite 6 (or better);
  • A positive attitude paired with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment;
  • Highly organized, creative and logical thinker;
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to find creative solutions for complex layouts while adhering to client style guides.
