GFL Environmental is looking for an DZ Driver to join our growing Solid team out of our Aurora Location. The DZ Driver/Loader will be primarily responsible for curbside pickup of waste/recycling containers on the assigned route.Job Responsibilities:Collect and transport residential recycling to designated sites in an efficient and appropriate mannerAdhere to the collection and delivery schedule while following all relevant policies and procedures of the Company, the MTO, Ministry of Environment as well as the by-laws of the Municipality in which you are working.Recycling receptacles that are emptied into the collection vehicle must be placed back on the resident’s property, flipped upside down at the curb, in the same place that they were removed from.Recycling containers can weigh up to 50 lbs. and need to be lifted from the ground up approximately 2 feet into the hopperYou will be required to make in excess of 900 residential stops per day.Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:DZ LicenceNewly licenced drivers are welcome to applyWe get excited about candidates who:Excellent Driving record.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-taskMust be flexible and dependableExcellent attention to detailAbility to maintain a professional demeanor in difficult situationsGFL Benefits:Medical and Dental Coverage Our industry leading benefits packageRRSP Matching: We support your future goals by matching your RRSP contributionsAn environment to encourage professional growth and developmentBe a part of the Full-Cycle Project initiative – a way to give back to the community#GFLTalentWe thank you for your interest.
