Job Description

Angelic Treasures Aurora is a brand-new center located in the heart of Aurora. 10 minutes away from Highway 401 and 404 and offers onsite parking.We are looking for qualified Supply Early Childhood Assistant/Educator to join our team to provide relief for our full-time and part-time RECEs and ECAs that are on vacation, having sick days, or are otherwise unavailable to fulfill their hours. We will provide yearly professional development day, performance reviews, and in-house training with speakers at staff meetings.If you want to grow in the field and take the opportunity to start in a brand-new daycare, apply today.Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 years experience in childcare center
  • Experience in integrated settings
  • Current First Aid and C.P.R. Certificates
  • Police Record Check (current within 3 months)
  • TB Current
  • Well versed in How Does Learning Happen Elect Document
Personal Qualifications
  • A positive and sensitive attitude towards children, their parents and other staff members.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to supervise other staff, including students on placement
  • All health requirements to be met in accordance with the Ministry of Education Nurseries Act
  • Dress appropriate to convey the organizations professional image
  • Dedicated to professional development
Support, Observe and assist student/staff by:
  • Modeling at routine and transition times
  • Communicating via the communication log in the binders
  • Participating in staff evaluation
  • Meet once a month for update on age groups
  • Familiar with How Does Learning Happen and ELECT document
Monitor and Document individual child progress by:
  • Keeping track of Posting for Story (Anecdotal note)
  • Dividing this work evenly between staff and posted once a month
Job Types: Permanent, CasualSalary: $15.50-$17.00 per hourBenefits:
