An exciting opportunity to join the front Desk team at one of the best-loved Motels in Nova Scotia Reporting to the Manager, The Ceilidh Country Lodge is recruiting for an organized, professional and outgoing individual to join us as a Front Desk Agent. Motel Front Desk experience preferred. Some customer service experience required. Availability to work varied shifts is a must (Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays).Job Duties:
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Typical concierge duties such as giving directions
  • Check guests in/out of Motel
  • Convert reservations via phone and email
  • Accurate billing of individual accounts
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, with diligent follow up procedures
  • Handle escalated guest issues
  • Cash handling
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Front-facing customer service experience required
  • Post secondary education in Tourism/Hospitality programs or equivalent hospitality experience an asset, but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills and manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work supervised or unsupervised
  • Team player
  • Availability to work varied shifts is a must (Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays)
