Job DescriptionThe Assistant Restaurant Manager will ensure that employees provide phenomenal guest experiences resulting in lasting memories. They will lead, develop and coach a team of professional employees to enhance the level of service and meet standards.Foodamp; Beverage Overview: Our mission is to make Foodamp; Beverage the heart and soul of all of our hotels by creating a free standing foodamp; beverage mentality in our hotels that is relevant, profitable and exciting; connecting us, our guests, and the community together.Candidates will be matched to one of the following Restaurants based upon experience:

  • 1888 Chop house/ Castello Ristorante
  • Rundle Lounge
  • Stanley #39;s Smokehouse (Golf Clubhouse)
  • STOCK Foodamp; Drink
  • The Vermillion Room
  • Waldhaus Dining Roomamp; Pub

  • Provide on-the-floor supervision and support to employees and coach and develop them to ensure standards are being maintained
  • Be involved with ongoing menu/wine/cocktail development
  • Have a good understanding of day-to-day expectations, tasks and operations as well as forethought to upcoming events
  • Review guest comments, respond to any concerns in a timely and professional fashion
  • Understand both the restaurant’s and the hotel’s financial goals to achieve superior long-term financial returns to our shareholders
  • Ensure that service essentials, steps of service and brand standards are being followed by the team
  • Other duties as assigned
