Job Description

Job DescriptionJoin our team as our dedicated Van Driver - Stewarding, responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our bustling hotel. Your role involves efficiently driving, loading, and delivering supplies to various areas of the hotel. Working closely with other departments, you #39;ll collaborate to ensure our guests #39; satisfaction is consistently exceeded. Starting Rate: $20.58 per hour We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.90. Job Duties Include:

  • Drive, load, and unload food, banquet equipment, glassware, china, and chemicals between hotel areas in a secure and timely manner; deliver to remote service locations as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and complete daily vehicle inspections, reporting any damages; keep loading docks tidy.
  • Assist departments with special deliveries on-site or externally, including transporting large items to Exshaw and Banff dump sites.
  • Participate in garbage and recycling removal according to hotel and Town of Banff regulations; support hotel environmental initiatives.
  • Foster inter-departmental cooperation, support guest satisfaction, uphold health and safety standards, and perform other assigned tasks.
