Job Description

Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for contributing to the coordinated efforts of preparing high-quality products for our retail stores. The performance of the duties must align with all Food Safety standards, and ensure a quality service approach to all customers, employees and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.Major Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Department activity ensuring that goals are properly communicated and attained.
  • Oversee team members and provide direction and support.
  • Ensure that all products produced in the facility meet the standards for quality and portion size.
  • Load orders into the Central Kitchen business system and print production schedules.
  • Ensure products are properly labeled and loaded into totes.
  • Assist, relieve, and train designated departmental personnel as requested by the Production Manager.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures including cleaning, sanitation, government regulation and food safety.
  • Ensure proper Healthamp; Safety practices are adhered to for efficiency and work safety.
  • Create and encourage a team-oriented work environment.
  • Actively participate in the ongoing effort to improve business practices.
  • Practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment.
  • Recognize contributions by showing appreciation for individual excellence.
  • May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
