Position Overview The Technical Client Site Services Infrastructure Engineer will serve a client by going on-site to their location, serving as infrastructure support and on-site, responding to service tickets of the client’s requests or problems; resolves all infrastructure problems in conjunction with remote support teams; maintain all equipment with current patches and requirements; contacts and works with third-party vendors for warranty service repair and dispatch. Primary Responsibilities Note: Primary responsibilities are descriptive and not restrictive in nature.

  • Act as primary point of contact for issues with client onsite for server and networking infrastructure issues and maintenance.
  • Work with Thrive Global Remote support teams to trouble and remediate any issues.
  • Assist Thrive Global Remote support to ensure that client environment is fully documented.
  • Act as the main owner of any physical changes needed for client server and networking infrastructure.
  • Ensure that client IT infrastructure remains physically organized and need and is completely and accurately documented.
  • Work with Thrive Global Remote support to ensure that all infrastructure is kept up to date with current and required patches.
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as detailed below or have an equivalent of documented experience. Equivalency decisions are made based on a combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities. Experience:
  • 3+ years of Windows Server Administrator experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting a VMware Environment
  • 3+ years of experience administering a LAN/WAN Environment (Cisco/Fortinet
  • SAN/NAS support experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Support
Special Requirements:
  • Must be capable of providing assistance to users in both French and English clearly and effectively
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
  • Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 45 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
