Do you believe in the power of teamwork and sharing ideas Do you take pride in delivering exceptional quality and service with everything you do Do you seek out ideas for improving the status quo If you want to make a difference and love being surrounded by the best and the brightest, Bureau Veritas Laboratories might be the place for you!Imagine being surrounded by the brightest minds in the industry.Bureau Veritas is looking for aSAMPLE ARCHIVISTThis is a Full-Time position with Medical Benefits and Retirement Savings PlanAs a SAMPLE ARCHIVIST, your responsibilitiesare:Management of all samples for archiving, retrieval and/or disposal.Management of all sample placement, archiving, retrieval and disposal; Maintain all cold rooms are in order and clean; Daily disposal of samples that have reached their disposal date; Daily placement of soil, water, dry and oil samples to the various locations through assignment of archive BINS; Maintenance and organization of the archival station and the area surrounding, keep walkway clear; Maintain all sample request forms and disposal lists in binders for reference; Organize the storage of samples for clients and contracts that require that we retain samples for a longer period; Retrieve samples that are in storage for additional analyses; Work closely with project managers to determine when samples need to be disposed, retained, or returned to client; Work with customer service group, sample entry and project managers to provide client with very good service in the shortest delay; Follow the Standard Operating Procedure established by Bureau Veritas for the archiving and disposal of samples; Adhere to and participate with all quality assurance policies and procedures of the organisation; Maintain employee file up to date. Other duties as assignedYou are an ideal SAMPLE ARCHIVIST if you have [Minimum Requirements]:You possess a Post-Secondary Education or its equivalence with at least one year related experience; You are fluent in English – spoken and written; You have excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills; You are responsible, independent, dedicated, and motivated with very good team spirit; Computer knowledge would be an asset.Working Conditions:High level of work production in fast paced lab environment May require flexible workings hours, overtime, weekend and shift work May involve long periods of standing Hazardous materials are handled using established safety procedures and appropriate PPE Some lifting and carryingBureau Veritas is a world leader in testing, inspection and certification services.When we look at Bureau Veritas, we want to see a reflection of the communities in which we work.
