Job Description

The Maintenance Technician Assistant will support the day to day maintenance of the Biggar facility.Main Tasks: Main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Reporting to Maintenance Manager on time and attendance and the reduction of overtime within the department.
  • Support of training and maintenance excellence.
  • Coordinate and facilitate audit and contractor requirements.
  • Process SAP entries and tracking; process all department supply requests.
  • Support commercial/customer requests (ex. visits,audits).
  • Senior matriculation; technical/business qualification or equivalent by experience.
Skills we are looking for:
  • Senior matriculation; technical/business Qualification or equivalent by experience.
  • Awareness of HACCP, food hygiene and safety requirements.
  • Experience in working in a maintenance office support capacity in a food or drink manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with working in a team.
  • SAP experience
