Job Description

Twin Valley Co-op is hiring an Agro Administration at Birtle Agro.Who we are:Co-op does business differently. To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at www.twinvalleyco-op.crsWhat you’ll do:In this Full-time role, you will report to the AGRO MANAGER, and provide support to the CPP Seed Manager and NH3 Manager. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic:

  • Support the sales and operations of the Agro.
  • Responsible for processing of payables (Tronia, Square9, Mocha),
  • Responsible for receivables (load out tickets and invoicing),
  • Assist with inventory control and operations where needed.
  • Assist with ordering product as directed.
  • Assist CPP and Fertilizer teams to prepare for accounting audits and assist with reconciling after audits/period ends. Perform spot checks on Seed/CPP and fertilizer products
  • Assist managers with audit preparation (AWSA, NH3 Code of Conduct and Transport Canada).
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 5+ years in an administrative role, Agricultural background an asset
  • Business Administration or Agri Business Diploma preferred
  • Retail skills an asset
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent computer, interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and willingness to train.
  • Focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork.
