  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must have a valid class 5.0 driver’s licence.
  • Frequent Travel to work sites within the province by ground and/or air transportation.
  • Work extended hours or periods of time as project demands.
  • Must be physically capable of performing all required duties of the position (such as bending/lifting/carrying/twisting/continuous standing, walking, sitting, working in outdoor rough terrain, etc.)
Qualifications:Essestial:
  • Extensive experience working in a highway maintenance and/or road construction environment.
  • Experience working with computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with maintenance and preservation software.
  • Knowledge of Asset Management and Department policies, construction specifications, procedures and guidelines.
  • Written communication skills with the ability to maintain accurate records, and prepare applicable correspondence and associated technical reports for a wide ranging audience.
  • Ability to train, coach, and mentor others in best practices, continuous learning, and self-development
  • Ability to analyze problems, expedite decisions or use tact and diplomacy to build consensus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including making presentations.
