If you are energetic, hardworking, and seeking long-term commitment, we want to hear from you!This position will be situated full-time in our manufacturing plant in Blackfalds and will require day or evening shifts, overtime, and the occasional Saturday. The successful candidate will have a proven background and knowledge in concrete batching or a similar role. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and comfortable contributing in a team environment or working independently.Job Descriptions

• Responsible for mixing specific components to make concrete
• Knowledge of batching equipment, operations and processes
• Document, record and monitor Batch Plant data
• Maintaining and cleaning batch plant, mixers, carts and aggregate systems
• Communicate with pouring crew, shop managers and quality control manager
• Follow instructions, procedures and schedules as outlined in batch plant manuals, manufacture specifications and safety manual
• Safely operate overhead cranes in a manufacturing environment
• Keep adequate inventory of batching materials
• Assist QC personnel in concrete testing to ensure the product meets the quality that Eagle Builders is known for

Assets

• Mechanically inclined and ability to troubleshoot problems
• A valid class 5 license and reliable transportation to drive to the shop every day

Requirements

• Previous experience batching concrete or similar role
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs
• Familiar with the Canadian Standard Association
• Available to work night shift starting at 1 am Monday to Friday
• Minimum 40 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
• Must be physically fit to perform demanding work for extended periods of time
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with attention to detail
• The ability to work under minimal supervision
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Local to central Alberta or willing to relocate to central Alberta
• Must be eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we are unable to sponsor international candidates
