We proudly serve all over Western Canada in precast concrete. We manufacture precast concrete for industrial, commercial, agricultural, and civil infrastructure and have built an outstanding name in the construction industry. Our dedicated team has grown to 450+ full-time employees.This full-time position will be situated in our fleet maintenance office in Blackfalds. There will be times when full PPE will be required when performing tasks in the shop. Hard hat, safety glasses, mask, steel-toed boots, and a reflective vest when in the yard. The ideal candidate will be unselfish, approachable, supportive, with a preference for attention to detail.*Job Description*

  • Assist the maintenance department with work orders and purchase orders.
  • Receive, enter, and track inventory.
  • Shipping and receiving parts (inter-country).
  • Drive to town for general errands.
  • Assist safety with editing of driver logbooks.
  • Be of assistance to different departments within the company as needed.
  • Enter, maintain, and update data into various software programs.
  • Maintain, organize, and order office, vehicle, and manufacturing supplies.
  • Ensure the office area is kept clean and tidy.
  • Administration duties include but are not limited to preparing labels, photocopying, filing, completing meeting minutes, etc.
  • Must maintain the confidentiality of documents and information across all levels of the organization.
  • Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time, using computers, printers, scanners, and other common office equipment.
  • Carrying, lifting, reaching, and bending for periods of time putting supplies, tools, and parts away.

  • Certified Administrative Professional
  • Microsoft Office Specialist
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in administrative support
  • Familiar with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient with computers and the ability to grasp new programs
  • Strong organization, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and active listening communication skills
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Adaptability to work in a team environment or independently
  • Operate in a safe, clean, and tidy manner
  • Strong work ethic and reliable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • A valid class 5 drivers’ licence, acceptable driver’s abstract and reliable transportation
  • 40 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
  • Available to work Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday if needed
  • Local to central Alberta or willing to relocate to central Alberta
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we are unable to sponsor international candidates.
