Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and comments in all platforms based on key messages.
  • Attend Jobs and be in the Know regularly for social media lives and to gather new content.
  • Create and maintain content calendars.
  • Coordinate all social media design, including profile images, post images, and banners.
  • Engage with user-generated content.
  • Develop and implement strategy for social media ad buys.
  • Assist with the digital asset management system, ensuring all photos are uploaded and properly filed and tagged.
  • Assist with marketing in other channels, including other digital spaces and email.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, brand management or public relations.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with brands to build and grow online communities through multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Customer service experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency with a variety of digital marketing tools, including but not limited to monitoring and scheduling tools.
  • A knack for writing and curating content for social media.
  • Well-developed organization and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Professional presentation and communication skills.
  • Team player with a great attitude.
Other Details:
  • The regular hours of work for this position are 40 hours per week Wednesday to Sunday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Non-standard hours of work may be required, including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
  • Applicants will be required to arrange their own transportation as the site often operates outside of standard public transportation hours.
  • Applicants must be willing to sign a media consent form.
  • Completion of a Police Information Check satisfactory to Fort Edmonton Management Company may be required.
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license or provincial equivalent and 5-year drivers abstract may be required at the time of offer.
  • All newly hired employees must be eligible to work in Canada for any employer.
