The company, which feels like family, is continuing to grow with opportunities ahead of us.Quickline Crane is searching for an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team of dedicated professionals on a permanent, full-time basis to contribute to the completion of construction projects by safely and efficiently operating mobile cranes. If you promote methodical, high-quality, detailed work to complete tasks on time and error-free, we want to hear from you!Job Descriptions

  • Safely operate various cranes from 55 to 350 ton. Types of cranes include, mobile cranes, rough terrain cranes, crawler cranes and gantry cranes.
  • Operate crane to lift and relocate various materials around the job site.
  • Operate crane to safely lift and set precast wall panels and structural steel for building applications.
  • Assist a crew prepare for building erection (layout, screw piles, cleaning up site, etc.)
  • Understand and adhere to all jobsite safety regulations and standards
  • Safely mob and de-mob crane to and from job sites.
  • Keep continuous communication with the ground crew for safe and efficient rigging and unrigging.
  • Perform preventative, current, and ongoing maintenance and light-duty repairs on cranes.
  • Oversee the crane’s general condition and address issues when something needs to be fixed or replaced.
  • Make decisions and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Assets
  • Experience operating Liebherr Grove and Tadano cranes.
  • Journeyman Mobile Crane certification.
  • Registered apprentice to operate a mobile crane.
  • Local to central Alberta or willing to relocate to central Alberta.
Requirements
  • Journeyman Heavy Boom certification
  • 5 years of experience operating mobile cranes
  • Acceptable driver’s abstract
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test anytime on any site
  • Leadership focused with consistent accuracy and emphasis on safety
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow, and teach others
  • Mechanically inclined, able to service equipment
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Fall Protection certification
  • Reliable and available to work Monday to Saturday
  • Full-time position, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
  • The ability to lift at least 50lbs and be comfortable with heights with proper safety restraints
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we are unable to sponsor international candidates.
