Our corporate culture is fast-paced, energetic, and fresh, empowering our staff to make positive influences for real change.About the OpportunityEagle Builders is looking to add a new Field Precast Install Superintendent to join our dedicated team in Blackfalds, AB on a full time, permanent basis, to contribute their knowledge and skills to our large-scale agricultural, industrial, commercial and multi-level buildings.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating job sites and the day-to-day operations related to precast projects
  • Creating and managing load lists, order site materials, and ensure tools and rigging is available
  • Communication and job coordination with the sales department, manufacturing plant and logistics
  • Supervision of quality control with respect to work completed by sub-trades and employees
  • Ensuring site safety
  • Coordination and evaluation of subcontractors
  • Cost monitoring
  • Planning and preparing reports as required
  • Regularly attend meetings for the purpose of planning, scheduling, safety, etc.
  • Effective communication with management, project managers, and team members
The Assets
  • An understanding of precast concrete systems
  • Hands-on experience with an understanding of the different terms, scopes and processes of construction
  • Strong working knowledge of interpreting and producing shop drawings.
  • Familiar with Procore construction management software
  • Experience utilizing MS Project or similar software to create construction schedules
The Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Superintendent in the Construction Industry for large commercial buildings or multi-level residential
  • A good understanding of the construction process from layout to finish
  • Proficient with computers and the ability to learn new software
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional time management skills with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure with tight deadlines with attention to detail
  • Available to work Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday.
  • Minimum of 44 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
  • A valid driver’s license, acceptable driver’s abstract, with reliable transportation
  • Local to central Alberta or willing to relocate to central Alberta.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we are unable to sponsor international candidates.
