We manufacture and deliver precast for industrial, commercial, agricultural, multi-story residential and civil infrastructure and have built an outstanding name in the construction industry. Our dedicated team has grown to 450+ full-time employees.Are you looking for an opportunity to; join an innovative team, drive and transport product within western Canada and be home most eveningsThe position will require you to safely drive a semi-truck to transport precast products to multiple jobsites in a fast-paced environment. You will be assigned long and short distance hauls depending on the location of the projects. Drivers can expect to be home most evenings, but long hauls may require 1-2 overnight stays during the week. Guaranteed every Sunday off.The successful candidate will have a valid class 1 Driver’s Licence and clean drivers abstract. Previous experience driving a semi through the mountains between Alberta and BC is a requirement.   • Safely operate a semi-truck to transport precast products and materials to multiple jobsites within Western Canada
  • Follow directions, permits, and read location instructions or maps
  • Preform loading and unloading operations including pre and post travel inspections
  • Plan travel schedules and routes accordingly for efficient deliveries
  • Maintain a clean unit and ensure proper maintenance is completed
  • Fill out required paperwork including but not limited to driver logs, e-logs, and truck inspections
  • Comply with federal and provincial commercial vehicle legislation
  • Safely load and unload equipment on and off flat decks as required
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 Drivers License and clean drivers abstract
  • Must have manual transmission, deck, and Super-B experience
  • Hours of Service (federal) certificate
  • Load Securement certificate
  • Pre-trip inspection certificate
  • Standard First Aid certificate
  • Physically fit with the ability to consecutively lift upwards of 40lbs
  • Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders
  • The ability to safely load and unload different types of equipment
  • A history of continued employment with good references
  • The ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and the occasional Saturday
