Job Description

Career Opportunity – MarshalSince 1920, Crowsnest Pass Golf Club (CNPGC) has offered spectacular mountain golf in a relaxed atmosphere. The Club has just completed an exciting renovation project including 11 new golf holes, irrigation system, practice facilities, clubhouse, and maintenance facilities. Planning for the renovation of the remaining holes is underway and this work will be scheduled over the next 5 years. CNPGC is committed to providing excellent playing conditions and good value to our members and guests, with a respectful and enjoyable workplace for our staff.We are currently seeking a Marhsal to join our team. Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, the Marshal will help manage the flow of golfers around the course.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Look for ways & opportunities to help the pace of play
  • Direct golfers around the course if they are having issues. Answer any questions or help with any requests or concerns.
  • Drive opposite the flow of golfers and on the cart paths.
  • Be considerate as to not disturb golfers when about to shoot or while putting.
  • Look and listen for any misuse of golf carts.
  • Make sure no outside liquor is being consumed on the golf course.
  • Clean any garbage found on the golf course during your rounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Integrity: Honest, and highly developed interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills
  • Hard-working individual with an eye for detail
  • Outgoing, energetic, and enjoys working in a team environment
  • Organization: Demonstrate ability to proactively prioritize, and effectively manage resources and time.
  • Strong communications skills
  • Desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Positive, goal-oriented individual
  • Previous golf course Marshal experience is preferred
  • Experience in a resort setting considered and asset
TERMS
  • Part-time, Seasonal position
