Although the company has grown tremendously from its early days, it still remains headquartered in the lakeside community of Bobcaygeon, Ontario, near Peterborough, an hour north of the GTA. Kawartha Dairy is proud to launch a Paid Student Employment Program. This opportunity is focused on helping students gain valuable work experience and insight into the Dairy and Maintenance industry.We strive to hire the right talent for the right roles as we look for those who keep rising!We are offering paid summer employment based out of our Bobcaygeon location. This fulltime paid role will be a part of our dynamic and strong Maintenance team.*What You’ll Do: *
  • Data Entry into computerized maintenance management software
  • Physical inventory counting and verification
  • Photographing and logging information of mechanical and electrical components
  • Printing labels and QR codes for spare parts
  • Organizing and staging of spare parts inventory
What you Need:
  • Be 18 years of age or older at time of hire
  • Legally permitted to work in Canada
  • Available for start of the program May 2022
  • Preferred Major and course work: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Returning to attendance at college or university after completion of their summer employment
