What You’ll Do:

• Apply your technical knowledge, curiosity, and highly developed skills to lead product development efforts
• Channel your passion for innovation & continuous improvement to achieve deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to launch new and/or improved products that will spearhead and anchor the brand
• Apply your creativity and resourcefulness to achieve unique solutions
• Provide your expert technical direction to Business on various concept(s) feasibilities
• Have fun!

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

• You have a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Food Science or related discipline
• At least 7 years relevant experience in R&D/Product Development in the food industry and a minimum of 5 years of management experience leading a team
• Expert knowledge in dairy and/or frozen food processing and advanced understanding of food systems, ingredients, and process interactions
• Advanced knowledge of R&D and commercialization processes and revel in bringing products to market
• Results oriented team member who is highly organized with a strong focus on detail and accuracy

• Aptitude for solving technical challenges through systematic research and investigation
• Exceptional project management skills with strong multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
• Excel at building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external contacts

• High level of computer skills, with practical experience using Genesis software considered a strong asset
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
