Job Description

Boundary Co-op is hiring a Full Time Produce Clerk at our Food Store in Boissevain, ManitobaWho we are: Co-op does business differently.   • Demonstrate day to day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-op’s vision,mission, values, brand and focus on safety
  • Properly prepare products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records
  • Ensure to keep a clean and well maintained department
  • Maintain and display all types of produce according to department standards
  • Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times
  • Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience – in person and on the phone
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience; food service experience is preferred
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You are well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
  • You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices
  • Ability to lift and load products: extensive physical labour is required
  • Flexible work schedule; weekend and evening work is required
