Join us and be part of an innovative and collaborative work environment.We are currently looking for a Licensed Senior Architect / Senior Technical Lead to join our Buildings Group (C2 Architecture Inc) in the Mississauga or Bowmanville offices, operating within a hybrid model. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to advance your career while working collaboratively within a dynamic team. You will have the chance to lead and manage a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, including transit, commercial, education, healthcare, and federal markets.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the project team in preparing conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents across various projects
  • Oversee and integrate multi-disciplinary inputs into the design process, working with specialists in areas such as traffic engineering, transportation safety, storm water management, geotechnical engineering, and environmental/ecology
  • Assume the role of Project Manager, controlling and managing resources, budgets, and schedules for multiple projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for clients, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in managing and guiding the architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Prepare presentation materials and renderings for client meetings, public consultations, and design review processes
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and prepare materials for permit application packages to secure necessary approvals
  • Provide contract administration and/or construction inspection services as required
  • Support continuous professional development by participating in internal and external learning opportunities
  • Represent the architectural team at project meetings, sharing insights and leadership across all stages of design and implementation
  • Contribute to the creation of written materials, including proposals, design briefs, meeting reports, and other documentation associated with the architectural design process
  • Lead design development and review processes, ensuring quality and alignment with client goals and project standards
  • Mentor junior staff, fostering growth and development within the team
  • Conduct QA/QC of drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards
