Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations Area 7 North Zone, you will play a key leadership role, responsible and accountable for providing direction, team management and organization of operational activities. Speak to the hiring manager who will confirm if, as the successful candidate in this position, you will be restricted to work at only one LTC/DLS site in Alberta.Description:The Seniors Health manager position is responsible and accountable for providing direction, leadership and organization over the activities of the team in the planning, delivery and evaluation of Seniors Health services in the North Zone in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. These activities will include the integration of various resources to carry out these activities. The position is also responsible and accountable or making key decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for establishing and contributing to the achievement of the goals of Seniors Health within the North Zone. The manager of Senior Health will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to provide leadership to the operations of Seniors Health within the North Zone. Seniors Health Manager is also responsible for: Implementation, operations, managing and monitoring of integrated delivery of Seniors Health Services and programs. Quality measurement of Seniors Health services and programs. Accountability regarding implementation, monitoring and operational management of legislated provincial Seniors Health-related standards Provides support and counsel to the Director, Area 7 Clinical Operations and management team on all aspects of related services within a designated geographical area.
