Job Description

Charger Logistics is seeking a well-rounded individual able to work in a fast-paced environment to join our team at the company’s office in Brampton, Ontario. Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure solutions utilizing Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Switches, HPE Switches, and Cloudflare to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Architect and manage Azure cloud networking solutions, including virtual networks, VPN gateways, and Azure ExpressRoute, to support hybrid cloud environments.
  • Configure and maintain Fortinet Firewall policies, VPN tunnels, and security profiles to protect the organization #39;s network infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor network performance and security posture using industry-leading tools and platforms, such as FortiAnalyzer, Cloudflare Analytics, and Azure Network Watcher, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, developers, and security analysts, to design and implement integrated solutions that meet business requirements and compliance standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in networking, security, and cloud computing, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization #39;s network infrastructure and operations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedules and provide timely resolution of network-related incidents and service outages, ensuring high availability and reliability of network services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the networking industry, with a focus on firewall management, cloud networking, and infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Switches, HPE Switches, and Cloudflare.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud networking services, including virtual networks, VPN gateways, and Azure ExpressRoute.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, and VPN technologies.
  • Certifications such as Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
