Job Description

Start your career in steel! No experience required!Brannon Steel is looking for reliable people to clean steel parts at its Brampton manufacturing location. Afternoon and night shifts available. Start at $20.62 per hour PLUS up to $2 per hour in afternoon shift premiums OR up to $4 per hour in night shift premiums.Please do not call to inquire about the status of your application, we will contact those who meet the requirements.Duties

  • Above all, work safely!
  • Use hand and power tools to clean steel parts.
  • Handle steel parts manually.
  • Read part drawings and production documents.
  • Check finished parts against specifications.
  • Perform and document quality inspections.
  • Document work completed.
Requirements
  • Lift up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds).
  • Count large quantities.
  • Perform basic math.
  • Read, write and speak English at a basic level.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Standing and repetitive work.
  • Construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or other heavy labour experience preferred.
