This position is located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and requires relocation to the community.Established manufacturer based in Yorkton SK is seeking a Controller to become an integral member of the Management Team. New Controller will replace existing long- term Controller who will be retiring in the coming months.Ram Industries Inc. specializes in custom designed and manufactured cylinder and metal machining products & services (see www.ramindustries.com for additional product and company information) serving Customers in various industries across North America. The Company offers the right candidate an opportunity to work in a dynamic workplace with an organization focused on aggressive growth and diversification.Overseeing the Admin/Accounting Dept while working closely with the Management Team, the Controller will play a key role in financial reporting and business operations. This position is responsible for budgets & cash flow analysis, monthly financial reporting & variance analysis, inventory control & valuation, estimating standards & margin analysis, and continuous improvement of the Company's reporting systems.The Controller is also involved in preparation of business plans and budgets and any operational analysis necessary to recommend and lead decisions necessary to meet cash flow & profitability objectives. The Controller must be keen to take a leadership role in controlling the Company's resources to ensure business and financial objectives are met.Preference is for candidates with a professional accounting designation and at least 5 years prior experience in a Management role in a similar work environment. Exposure to manufacturing or processing operations is important, as data flowing through the ERP/MRP system is at the core of the organization's reporting information and analysis. Candidates should possess an aptitude for data analysis, interpretation and presentation, along with excellent computer and communication skills.The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary along with a full benefits package (including pension plan) and relocation allowance if applicable.
