As a Landscape Foreman your responsibilities entail; helping with the installation of softscape and hardscape projects. Hardscaping consists of paving stone, retaining walls, base prep, and natural stonework. Softscaping consists of soil prep, installing trees/shrubs and sod, mulch, fabric, and granular products. Responsibility and operation of a crew truck and trailer, skid steer, crew tools, site management and production metrics. You will need to be accountable to deadlines, quality, and integrity of each project that you are on. You are responsible for a crew of 2-3 staff each day. Teaching, leading and holding each staff member accountable is up to you each day; ensuring company values, current standards, safety regulations, policies, and procedures are adhered to. Reporting back to the Landscaping Install Manager throughout the day. Any equipment or tools that you’re asked to operate you will be trained on. The job is physically demanding, strenuous and can be monotonous at times. You will be working under the direction of the Operations Manager and will need to follow their direction and leadership when asked to. Our work schedule is typically Monday to Friday with an average of 100hr pay periods. We pay OT after 100 hrs. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. They are responsible for communication between the employees and the Manager; participating in the hiring and retention of quality staff; ensuring company values, current standards, safety regulations, policies, and procedures are adhered to.Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience in a leadership/foreman role.
• Two to five years of experience in landscaping or related field is an asset.
