Job Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Manager of Compensation, Benefits, and Pension on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, SK.Our People & Culture team currently has flexible work agreements in place and is open to exploring remote work arrangements with candidates.Who we are:As a co-operative, we do business differently. To learn more about who we are, visit www.fcl.crs.What you’ll do:You will manage and lead the implementation and delivery of key components of the organization’s compensation, benefits, and pension programs to meet the strategic needs of the CRS ensuring a diverse and inclusive lens. You will work collaboratively with other People & Culture team leaders and organizational stakeholders to ensure alignment of People & Culture strategies within FCL and for local Co-ops across Western Canada.

  • You will provide oversight, update and lead the implementation of the organization’s annual compensation, benefits and pension programs and other total rewards programs to align with overall business plan, strategic directives, and total rewards strategies as outlined by the Total Rewards COE.
  • You will collaborate with the Total Rewards COE to support Total Rewards policy / process/learning material creation, and maintain the knowledge management system, ensuring all content is relevant, up-to-date and communicated to FCL and the CRS.
  • You will lead, coach, and mentor a team that oversees compensation, benefits and pension activities.
  • You will analyze data to assess customer service performance, benchmark technologies, set goals, drive improvements, and inform operational strategy for Compensation, Benefits & Pension function and team.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree, preference given to those with focus on Commerce or Business Administration as well as CPHR, CEBS, or CCP designation.
  • You have a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience including experience leading a team. Experience in compensation, benefits and pension is required (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
