Cascadia Metals / True North Tube is currently accepting resumes for the position of:Production Worker for their tube mill and paint line. True North Tubes business is producing square, round and rectangular pipe and tubing in both hot rolled and galvanized material types. Through our optimistic view of the future, we believe there will always be room for creative, innovative distribution in the future.Who Were Looking forOur process includes handling the feed stock slit coils with a forklift and a jib crane, loading them onto an uncoiler at which time they are fed into the roll forming tube mill. The material is formed and made into round, square and rectangular tubing and pipe after a fusion process. The mill cuts it to the required lengths and feeds it into a number of different steps depending on the requirement. This includes swaging, roll grooving and painting. The finished pieces are then banded into bundles and prepared for shipping.We are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion mindset and values.The successful applicant will have:

• experience with painting practices would be an asset
• experience operating forklifts would be an asset
• mechanical inclination
• experience and be comfortable using different types of hand tools and equipment
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment
• safe work habits, and work within Cascadias safe work procedures and safety policies
• the ability to lift 35 kgs (75 lbs) safely
• experience working independently and within a team environment
• a great sense of urgency and willing to work some overtime if required
