Job Description

Property Maintenance HandymanHilltop Developments is looking for a reliable property maintenance technician, that can provide repair and maintenance work at our residential properties. We’ll rely on you to keep our properties in good clean condition by completing various jobs in maintaining our tenants’ apartments, and the associated grounds.The Role:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs
  • Knowledge of basic electrical
  • Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, etc.)
  • Basic carpentry
  • General plumbing/installations: Toilets, faucets, fix leaks, etc.
  • Facility repairs: doors, doorknobs, locks, broken tiles, staining etc.
  • Facility Installations: laminate flooring, doors, windows, trim, sinks, faucets etc.
  • Tenant Requests: air filters, new lock installation, and smoke detector inspection
  • Assist tradespeople on site
  • Maintaining grounds: lawn, snow removal, etc.
  • Respond to requests from property management and/or administration team as needed
What We’re Looking For:
  • Maintenance experience
  • Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
  • Good communication ability
  • Well-organized and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Skid steer experience (preferred)
  • Plumbing and electrical experience (preferred)
  • Class 3 License would be an asset
