Job Description

Applications are to be received by: 4:30 p.m. on February 24, 2023Classification: Research Assistant IIIJob Title: Research Assistant – Centre for Critical Studies of Rural Mental HealthWage or Salary: $17.70Hours of Work: 5-10 hours per weekStart Date: March 1, 2023Number of Positions available: 1Length of Appointment: March 1 to August 25, 2023Date Issued: January 31, 2023Duties:

  • Conducting literature searches and reviews,
  • Contributing to qualitative data collection (e.g., focus groups and interviews),
  • Reviewing transcripts for accuracy and preparing summaries,
  • Contributing to data entry and analysis,
  • Contributing to research team meetings,
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills,
  • High regard for quality and attention to detail,
  • Strong research and writing skills required,
  • Education and training in qualitative research methods,
  • Experience and/or knowledge working in addictions an asset.
  • Third or Fourth year undergraduate student.
