Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter–from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.Overview of the RoleReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipper is responsible for receiving finished good from the production department into the warehouse accurately and efficiently, while ensuring that product is received into an inventory management program and rotated into stock. The job holder is to work as part of a team to ensure that products are being picked First in First Out (FIFO) as well as order picking and trailer loading/unloading.How you will make contributions that matter:

• Perform all activities pertaining to shipping, receiving and inventory control
• Ensure all company documentations related to the are accurately captured within the time requirements
• Ensure product meets all specifications regarding GMP and Quality Programs.
• Accountable for daily sanitation and housekeeping of designated work area.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment
• Ensure to meet customers’ requirements “Pick sheet, loading pattern, code dates, freshness guidelines, etc”.
• Assist in other parts of the facility’s daily activities when required
• All other duties as assigned.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Grade 12 education
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Working knowledge in a food processing, packaging, warehousing & distribution environment will be an asset
• Problem solver, with ability to prioritize all operational activities to meet efficiency and customer service requirements
• Ability to multi-task and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
• Capacity to take on additional responsibilities as required; quick at assessing facts and making sound decisions
• Proven communication (verbal / written) and inter-personal skills
• Ability to maintain accurate written records and documentation
• Excellent attendance and safety awareness
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
