Job Description

Technical Sales RepresentativeRegina, SaskatchewanOn behalf of our client, Shreem Instrumentation & Controls Ltd, we seek a driven, charismatic, organized Technical Sales/Business Development Representative in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Technical Sales Representative responsibilities include prospecting, and establishing new customer relationships; assisting in the development of business strategies and business plans to grow the overall sales and market shareReporting to the President, the Technical Sales Representative is responsible for planning and achieving objectives in the assigned territory. Working with internal and external service provider/contractors to identify priorities, solve problems, meet deadlines, adapt to change, and choose the most efficient ways to get the work done.As the Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and growing sales in an assigned territory.
  • Identifying and creating solid business relationships with decision-makers in the assigned territory.
  • Focusing on lead generation, sales development, customer service, client visit, and order booking.
  • Assisting in the development of business strategies to grow overall sales and market share.
  • Participating in trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Demonstrating to clients technically and commercially the recommended solutions.
  • Preparing and presenting company & product demonstrations to clients.
  • Maintaining sales and marketing information up to date.
  • Working in collaboration with internal peers across all functions, including Customer Service, Support, Consulting, Product Development, and Marketing.
  • Capturing, maintaining, and recording accurate and relevant prospect information.
  • Participating in weekly, monthly, quarterly business reviews and working on business plans and budgets.
  • Exercising and demonstrating the utmost professionalism and integrity while interacting with both internal and external associates.
You and Your Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Information or related field is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience working in sales, management, and related practical experience in electrical, instrumentation and automation.
  • Experience in process automation & machine automation is an asset.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and closing new system sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver license is required.
