Job Description

Client Relations Manager - GeologyAre you a Geologist with account management experience Do you have over 7 years #39; experience in mining technology sales Are you based in VancouverWe are partnered with a global leader in rock and resource analytics, who are on a mission to revolutionise the mining industry, leveraging robotics, sensors, AI, machine visionamp; resource modelling. We are partnered with them on a unique position, Client Relations Manager, who will buildamp; maintain long-lasting relationship, and advance their leadership in the industry.This exciting role will be responsible for managing client engagement throughout their project life cycle, whilst collaborating closely with project geologists. A Geology/Mining background is highly desirable for this position, as well as strong experience selling mining technology. This role will be based in Vancouver, BC, with travel up to 40% on a global scale.In this Client Relations Manager - Geology position you will also be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. This will include in-person and digital client engagement to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Managing project scoping and execution of deliverables alongside project geologists and operations to ensure value driven objectives and key deliverables are met, within scope, and within budget.
  • Supporting project geologists with client-facing requirements, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Working closely with the Discovery team and other internal stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of innovative data and technology solutions.
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company #39;s products, services, and technical capabilities and their impacts on the mining industry. Leverage this knowledge to provide proactive support and identify expansion opportunities and steady project growth.
  • Understanding clients #39; business goals, technical requirements, and challenges. Act as a client advocate within the company.
  • Assisting in contract development and renewals by demonstrating the value and ROI of our offerings. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships through additional products or services.
  • Partnering with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and support, to address client needs and resolve issues efficiently.
Essentials
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Geology or Mining Engineering.
  • 7 years #39; experience selling mining technology solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear messages for clients.
  • Based in Vancouver, BCamp; willing to travel globally.
