Job Description

Dixon Automotive Group Canada Ltd. is looking for a Parts Manager to join our team at Kia of Brockville!The Dixon Automotive Group is a local family owned and operated company consisting of Kia of Brockville, Smiths Falls Kia, Brockville Nissan, 6 Dixon’s Car & Truck Rental locations and 3 CarStar body shops.Our ideal candidate will possess 2+ years in parts management, possess a willingness to learn, and is invested in the growth of our business and the local automotive industry.This position is responsible for the efficiency and profitability of the parts department by managing inventory accuracy and stock levels to ensure smooth operation of the service department. The Parts Manager must ensuring all contracts of purchase from the manufacturers and selling of parts accordingly from dealership. This position reports to the Fixed Operations Manager.Position Duties:

  • Leads and supports the drive to build increased parts sales by providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Manages execution of delivery of product in a timely manner. Daily inspection of special orders, purchase orders and ensuring timeliness and accurate inventory.
  • Daily input of sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices as needed.
  • Achievement of monthly sales targets and gross forecasts.
  • Manage annual inventory counts.
  • Seek and solicit new parts business.
  • Oversee parts payment collection and billing.
  • Supervise stock order procedures.
  • Ensure price matrixes are kept up to date.
  • Improves sales and profitability for the Parts Department.
  • Primary control of orders and distribution of parts.
  • Assist in monitoring the operating budget by tracking sales and expenses.
  • Enforce safety requirements and government regulations.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of dealer experience in automotive environment.
  • 2+ year experience in Parts Management.
  • Experience with both OEM and aftermarket parts.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and execute on plans.
  • Ability to operate independently, multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong computer skills are required.
  • Functional literacy and capability of recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure the proper selection of parts.
  • Able to work retail hours including scheduled evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Perform other related duties as required by management.
Assets:
  • Valid G Driver's Licence
  • Automotive Training or Certification.
  • Reynolds and Reynolds Software experience.
