Company Description:The Mini Moose Cafe is a small cafe located on the water in downtown Brockville on the main floor of the Tall Ships building. We offer breakfast and lunch foods, fresh baked goods, ice cream and specialty beverages. Along with our cafe, we have a pub upstairs called Moose McGuires. Both businesses pride themselves on having the best patio view in town!We are seeking people who have excellent customer service skills positive personality and hardworking. This job requires you to be face to face with customers all day. You must be comfortable to be left to work alone while being quick and efficient. Previous barista, serving and food preparing experience is a plus but not necessary.Physical Demands:- Be on your feet for long periods of time- Occasionally lift up to 20 lbsMain duties for this position include, but are not limited to:- Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, espresso drinks, specialty beverages and alcohol- Preparing and serving food items such as sandwiches, salads and ice cream- Cleaning and sanitizing seating areas, work areas, utensils and equipment- Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers- Serving customers, taking orders and processing paymentsSome necessary skills to process for this position are:- A happy, friendly personality- High level attention to detail- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work- Team player qualities- Great communication skills with your team and superiorsJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, SeasonalPart-time hours: 10-40 per weekSalary: From $15.00 per hourAdditional pay:
