Job Description

Job descriptionBASIC FUNCTIONIn accordance with written or oral instructions:1. Place released bulk material & semi processed items into Raw Material Storage. Maintains area in compliance to GMP requirements.2. Dispenses raw materials using the Automated Material Dispensing System (AMDS).3. Checks material identity, weights and measures for other dispensers and dispenser-control checkers.4. Assists in the bulk raw material management of inventory and warehousing.DETAILED DUTIES

  • Responsible for accurately dispensing the right weight or measure of a raw material according to specific nomenclature and designated receiving no. on AMDS.
  • Checks the identity, weight or measure, receiving no., calculations, and number of containers for raw materials dispensed by another dispenser.
  • Is responsible for the cleanliness of the equipment, the dispensing cubicles, the dispensing staging area and the Dispensing Raw Material Warehouse area. The dispensing cubicles must be kept clean and free of foreign raw materials, containers, or labels. The warehouse is kept in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Watches and reports, immediately, any irregularities in the physical properties of a raw material.
  • Places raw materials into the Dispensing Raw Material Warehouse. The Raw materials are checked for accuracy in their respective titles, receiving numbers and quantities according to the JDE inventory system, and placed in the Dispensing Raw Material Warehouse. Upon receipt of raw materials, from receiving, stores materials in the designated storage area and completes “Production Warehouse Transfer Sheet”. Sheet forwarded to the Dispensing Group Leader.
  • Assists in the raw material management within the Dispensing area. This involves the transfer of material into and out of the area. Assists in the updating of physical inventory levels of raw materials between Dispensing and production control and may assist with data input into JDE through the Dispensing computer terminal.
  • May be required to perform other work as assigned.
