Job Description

Pet Valu Brockville is Hiring an Experienced Pet GroomerPlease bring a resume in to the store and ask to speak to a manager!Job Requirements:

  • Experience with grooming dogs of varying sizes and breeds
  • A minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience
  • Must have own basic equipment (clippers, scissors, nail trimmers, brushes, blade care sprays/oils)
  • Must be comfortable working in close proximity with another groomer
  • Grooming services, including bathing, drying, clipping, hand scissoring, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet
  • Must be comfortable performing nail trims on cats and dogs
  • Works well in a fast paced environment and can handle the physical requirements of lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling.
  • A positive attitude and teamwork mentality
  • Looking for Part-time or Full-time availability
  • One weekend shift (preferred)
  • Days, and/or afternoons (9:30-5:30, or 11:00-7:00)
