Job Description

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent, full-time Forklift Operator for our freezer facility in Brockville, ON! Profit sharing and paid benefits are offered at two years of service with GTW.Forklift Operator - Overnight Shift Job Highlights:

  • Accurately fill primary locations focusing on “dynamics” first, and then manual letdowns.
  • Accurately replenish flow racking ensuring that the quantity put in the primary matches the quantity on the computer.
  • Ensure that replenishment stock quantity that is put back into overstock is accurate.
  • Efficiently stack and store the palletized merchandise in the appropriate areas in the racking according to the pallet height, primary location, and weight.
  • Ensure that all moves, transfers, and replenishments are accurately scanned, using RF, from one location to another.
  • Account for damages by moving damaged cases only to the reclamations room clearly identifying the SKU number, quantity, and primary location.
  • Maintain a daily productivity count of 20 moves per hour
  • Various warehouse duties, as prescribed by the supervisor.
Forklift Operator - Overnight Shift Job Requirements:
  • Completion of High School;
  • Experience as an Order Picker or a similar position;
  • Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time;
  • Must be able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Must be comfortable working in a cold environment.
Forklift Operator - Overnight Shift Job Schedule:
  • Sunday to Thursday from 11:30pm - 8:00am
