Basic FunctionCo-ordinate the activities and ownership of your focus factory production area i.e. hourly direct and service employees and is responsible for monitoring the various quality control checks necessary for the production of a quality product, as well as meeting the standards called for in the labour standard sheet, production variances and ensure that production lines and operators he/she is directing conform to cGMP’s and standard operating procedures, while being an operator on the production line if required.Responsibilities· Know, understand, and follow cGMP’s and departmental and safety standard operating procedures.· Communicate production or quality issues to Focus Factory Manager, Group Leader, Quality and/or Maintenance as necessary.· Facilitate daily team meetings.· Align and set immediate action reports/ white boards as needed.· Work rotational shift assignments.· Work with and lead teams.· Responsible for safety, quality, delivery and cost for assigned production line.· Required to perform operator functions.· Required to be a Control Checker.· Ensure trained qualified employees are on line.· Performs checks on bulks, packaging components, line set-up, fills, etc. and in addition performs any other functions required by Quality Assurance.· Must be able to follow reasonably complicated instructions as well as refer to various reference books with regards to proper set-up and operation of any given packaging operation.· Ensure packaging order is current and if not, initiate a change control to make the necessary revisions.· Ensure all in-process quality checks are performed in compliance with established specification (i.e. fill checks, torque checks etc.).· Monitor the operation of line equipment ensuring they are meeting required quality and operational standards.· Responsible for preliminary reconciliation of bulk.· Responsible in directing the required service help to set-up, adjust and dismantle equipment.· Ensure all log books are completed and verification checks are performed monthly.· Ensure required master cleaning recordss are utilized and filled out correctly.· Responsible for sending properly counted and identified returns to the warehouse.· Responsible for returns of all labels and cores to label room for reconciliation.· Responsible for issuing bulks in J.D. Edwards to packaging orders.· Responsible to ensure that all packaging records are complete and necessary samples submitted for work order close out.· Responsible to perform and assist in the duties of a Group Leader as required.Other related duties as assigned.Other· Required to work without much supervision.· Overtime work may be required.· Shift work is required.Education/Skills· Minimum high school graduation diploma.Some mechanical skills requiredJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From $23.47 per hourBenefits:
