JD Welding Inc. is growing again! The company requires Welders/Industrial Maintenance employees. We work in small independent teams and the success of that team and therefore, you and JD Welding, will be the direct result of your knowledge, experience and abilities.We specialize in servicing the aggregates (surface mining, concrete and asphalt plants). Duties include on site repairs and maintenance of the plant including but not limited to, welding in liner plates, repairing and patching bins and hoppers, conveyor maintenance and guarding, fabrication and installation of walkways handrails and landings, teardown and erection of portable equipment.JD Welding Inc. covers a large area servicing customers all over Ontario. Successful applicants must be willing to travel which tend to be at the longest usually rotations of ten days on site working up to 12 hours days, followed by four days at home. All accommodations are provided as well as a daily per diem.The ideal candidate will be proficient in SMAW welding, cutting with oxy propane, telehandler and aerial platform use, hoisting and rigging, confined space work, be mechanically inclined, able to lift 100 lbs. and able to work outdoors in all weather.We look forward to your application!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
