This Collections Specialist position in the Oakville, Ontario region. Contact Robert Half today if you want to nourish your career as an experienced Collections Specialist at a growing company in the Insurance industry.What you get to do every day- Ensure the processing of payments- Update customer files to ensure data integrity- Maintain quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries- Manage all billing and reporting activities in line with deadlines- Manage inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence- Ensure bankruptcy filings are processed in the correct manner when received- Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment- Comply with all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act- Log all customer payments to the correct reportsJob Requirements:- Ability to analyze customer accounts and make decisions based on those analyses- Comprehensive knowledge of Cash Collections- Command of Collect Outstanding- Collection Processes experience- Experience with consumer collections- Proficiency in Collecting Payments- Adeptness in Collector- 2+ years of prior high volume collections experience- Prior experience working with collections/accounting software- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
